Cohen is a standout pitcher and outfielder for Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona, and a rising name in the state’s prep baseball scene. A member of the Class of 2025, Baack was a cornerstone of the Coyotes’ rotation, known for his poise on the mound, athleticism, and advanced pitch sequencing. He guided the Coyotes to their first baseball title, winning the AZ 5A State Championship. Cohen brings a competitive edge and a cerebral approach to every outing, leveraging both talent and discipline.

A right-handed pitcher with a fastball sitting in the high-80s and topping out in the low-90s, Baack’s fluid 3/4 arm slot delivery also features a sharp sweeping slider and a deceptive changeup, allowing him to keep hitters off balance throughout games. His performances have earned him recognition both during the high school season and in summer ball, where he suits up for Swarm Red Elite. Despite an arm injury setback in 2024, Cohen returned stronger than ever, a testament to his work ethic and discipline.

Off the field, Baack is respected for his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to development. Committed to Utah Valley University, he will be a key part of the baseball program as they transition to the Big West conference.
